The objective of this project for Dial was to create a distinct and cohesive structural design aesthetic for the Dial family of liquid body wash that modernizes and premiumizes the brand.
The form language signals motifs like: “soft, feminine, ergonomic, modern, spa, and luxurious.”
Sustainability is a driving concept in the new design, utilizing less plastic as well as post-consumer recycled plastic.
These are photos of the extremely high-fidelity prototypes the team and I created for Dial.
This allowed both parties to make informed decisions concerning form and ergonomics.
These images are earlier conceptual work exploring a variety of different forms.
Foam models were also cut throughout the process in order to experience the form 3 dimensionally.
This bottle was designed with entire product family in mind and was part of the larger project of designing a new line of bottles for all the liquid soap products in Dial’s line-up.
